WARRANTY INFORMATION
At J & R Auto Recyclers, Inc., we want your part buying experience with us to be a positive one. While a lot of care has been taken into the purchasing, testing, dismantling, and cleaning of the parts you purchased from us....If you should ever run into a problem with a part purchased, please note the following procedures will apply:
- Our used auto parts are guaranteed for 91 days against defect, unless otherwise stated.
- Extended Warranties are available on many of our parts. Please contact a sales representative to discuss your options.
- New aftermarket parts carry a (1) one year warranty from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- All electrical parts are sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied.
- Special order parts are non-refundable and are sold "as is".
- All returned parts (excluding special order parts) are subject to a 15% restock fee and shipping charges (if applicable). A credit slip will be issued for the remaining balance and must be used within (1) year.
- All parts MUST be returned within 30 days of purchase date along with original invoice...no exceptions! No credit of any form will be issued after 30 days.
- All engines are tested and ran (when possible) and are sold with a guarantee against internal cracks knocks, smokes, rattles, or excessive oil use. All engines are sold as long blocks only, and while many of our used engines will come with accessories such as water pumps, fuel injection, distributors, sensors, relays, computers, wiring, etc ...these parts are not covered under warranty, and will need to be changed to ensure proper fit and drivability.
- All engines and cylinder heads must have heat tab in place and not melted out...or warranty is null and void.
- All transmissions must be properly serviced (new filter, gaskets, and seals), as well as properly flushed cooling system to ensure proper cooling capacity as well as flow, at the time of install or warranty is null and void.
- Please see additional warranty information on your sales receipt and read fully upon purchase.
- J & R Auto Recyclers Inc. cannot be responsible for installation error, abuse or anything other than normal use. Warranty is null and void if part purchased is deemed used for anything other than stock applications (retro-fitting, muddling, off-road, etc.).
- No labor paid, unless otherwise stated
- Should a warranty claim arise, the part purchased is to remain in the vehicle for possible inspection by a representative of J & R Auto Recyclers Inc.
- J & R Auto Recyclers Inc. is not responsible for towing charges, lay up times, loss due to down time, cost of lodging, labor cost, car rental, etc.
